A private rooftop green retreat combining ornamental planting, a compact kitchen garden and a relaxation zone for a family home.

Project Details

This project transformed a private rooftop into a respite space with a mix of ornamentals and edible plants. Our design approach balanced aesthetics with function: seating areas, shade structures and potted beds were harmonized to create a tranquil setting.

Low-maintenance perennial choices and a small automated irrigation system were used to ensure the owner could enjoy the space with minimal maintenance time.

We added a small compost bin and a seasonal planting calendar to keep soil fertility in check without chemical fertilizers.

The result is a vibrant rooftop that doubles as a leisure zone and a productive kitchen garden that adds to the home’s self-sufficiency.
